COMMON CUSTOMER QUESTIONS

Before contacting us, please view our FAQ for the most commonly asked questions about our furniture repair. Questions usually consist of what materials we repair, how to restore a piece, costs, location, brands, and the list goes on.

GENERAL COSTS

How much does furniture repair cost?
This all depends on what materials your furniture has. Some materials are more expensive than others, some are easier to maintain.
How much do you charge for pick up and delivery
We normally cover the southern areas of England and the radius is usually between 10-30 miles from out shop. Add £10 for every extra 5 miles.

GENERAL REPAIRS

How do you repair damaged furniture?
Short answer; we thoroughly examine your piece of furniture, we give you a quote then we use the necessary tools for the damage.
How do you freshen up old furniture?
Older furniture require a lot more preparation, time and care. The techniques used are both modern and from the past.

OTHER SERVICES

Is it worth it to reupholster?
Absolutely. This is a very important process of furniture repair. It's cheaper to upholster than to replace the damaged piece.
How do I know if my antique furniture is valuable?
This question is specifically for our small antique staff. Like with regular furniture, varying factors come into place. Age, make, size, fabric and materials and it's condition.
